I gathered up the courage to ask the waitress to photograph me this time, but I’m not publishing the photo because I didn’t like it. The reason for the photo of a woman who looks like the Joker from the Batman movies is that I compared myself to the Joker. But then it seemed self-centered so I commented it out. The next paragraph was written with the aid of artificial intelligence and is as such not interesting.

As for my meal, I only ordered an appetizer this time and my waitress seemed to be disappointed. I got the Chicken Satay which is a delicious and popular dish, especially known in Southeast Asian cuisine. Here’s a brief overview: Chicken Satay consists of skewered and grilled chicken that is marinated in a mixture of spices, often including turmeric, cumin, coriander, garlic, and lemongrass. It is typically served with a rich, savory peanut sauce that complements the smoky, tender chicken perfectly. The peanut sauce is a creamy and slightly spicy sauce made with peanuts, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and a touch of coconut milk. The menu said that it was accompanied by cucumber salad but if you look at the photo you will see the “salad” consists of a single cucumber slice. Traditionally served on skewers, made it a fun and visually appealing dish. A harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and spicy. The chicken is juicy and tender, with a slight char from grilling.
