The waitress said my order would be ready in 20 minutes but it actually only took 10 minutes. There was no bread to snack on so getting the dish sooner rather than later was better. The next paragraph was written with the aid of artificial intelligence and is as such not interesting.
Chicken Marsala with Spinach and Mashed Potatoes was a delightful combination of Italian flavors and comforting sides. The dish featured tender chicken breasts cooked in a savory Marsala wine sauce with perfectly sautéed mushrooms and spinach, adding a fresh and earthy element. The mashed potatoes provided a creamy, smooth base that complemented the rich sauce perfectly.
I didn’t eat the whole meal because I’m on a diet. I am aiming for 2000 calories and 95 grams of protein per day which sounds like a lot for a diet but I am exercising 3 days per week for one hour and another 3 days a week two hours. I do 10 minutes of physical therapy which consists of weightlifting for my arms 6 days per week. I do 15 minutes of weightbearing exercises for my arms and 15 minutes of weightbearing exercises for my abs and legs 3 times per week. I’m trying to improve my Taekwondo skills. I do a lot of plyometrics and cardio. With plyometrics I mean mostly burpees, jumping jacks, and mountain climbers. I walk up and down stairs, jump rope, practice kicking, practice the katas (actually called poomsaes for TKD but kata is a more familiar word), do line drills, stretch, and practice footwork with a rope ladder which is sort of like playing hopscotch. I need to build speed and explosive power. For my black belt test I need to be able to do the double front kick and I’m following along with a video of it but I can’t execute it correctly yet. My cousin said my weightlifting load was light but I don’t have a reason to increase my strength training because I’m not sure it would help me with my TKD goals.
My Exercise Schedule I’m still not getting enough protein because I have a sweet tooth and don’t want to increase my calorie intake to compensate for it. Bruce Lee drank tea with honey but other than that, he didn’t eat any sweets. 0.8 gram protein per pound of target weight = 118 lbs times 0.8 = 95 grams from https://www.quora.com/Is-0-6-0-8-grams-of-protein-per-pound-sufficient-to-build-muscle
The meal was probably about 800 calories so I overshot the mark today. I took home one chicken breast which is about 300 calories and 54 g protein. I will eat it for lunch tomorrow warmed up with some frozen vegetables.
